Safari is an easy-to-use and elegant web browser by Apple. Safari is an easy-to-use web browser by Apple. With its simple and elegant user interface, Safari allows you to surf the web in the fastest way ever known in a browser.

The only disadvantage I found is that Safari lacks any advanced security settings. You can block third-party cookies and some Web scripts, but you can't enter specific Web sites from which to accept or reject cookies, as you can with both Opera for Mac and IE.

Avant Browser

Avant Browser is a web browser to surf on the Internet.

For those who like their customization in-house, the Avant Browser's latest update might appeal to you. Built on an IE-rendering engine, Avant takes off in a different direction--IE if it were being produced by a small firm instead of Microsoft.

The browser is sufficiently fast, preloaded with two dozen similar skins as well as tabbed browsing and modular toolbars that let you move around and hide the Status bar, Toolbar, Search window, and navigation controls. The Menu bar, though, is counterintuitively pinned to the upper-right corner, and icons for proprietary functions, such as an in-page search term highlighting toggle, aren't instantly comprehensible.

AOL has a long history on the internet, being one of the first companies to really get people online. Throughout its lifetime, it has been involved with a number of high profile acquisitions, perhaps the largest of which was the 1999 acquisition of the Netscape Communications Corporation.

Netscape was known to many as the thought leader in web browsing, and had developed a number of complementary pieces of software that allowed for a rich suite of internet tools.

Opera 9.6 is a web browser to navigate on the Internet. This web browser is an alternative to be used instead Internet Explorer, Mozilla, FireFox or Safari. This release version works with tabs which means that in a single window you can have different web pages opened in different tabs and their behavior will be like if every single tab will be opened in a single window.


Besides this released version uses integrated searches by typing in the address bar the words or phrases that you’re looking for; select the engine from the engines context menu located at the right side of the address bar, and the search will be quickly performed.

Firefox

A lighter and faster alternative to MS Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox is also safer than IE, according to many studies. You can find versions for Mac and Linux OS as well, and customize your browser by adding any of the huge number of add-ons available on the Internet.

You now have the option of a a multi-line display that shows a history of what you've keyed into the calculator.

There are more calculation modes. Besides simple mode, there is scientific mode, a programmers mode and a statistics mode.

The digit grouping makes it much easier to read long numbers.

There is also a whole raft of extra functionality that takes place in an additional pane to the right of the calculator when these special functions are enabled.
