The sole purpose of education is to have good understanding about the social cultures and to be able to learn and earn the basic amenities of life. A student in his lifetime is made to learn hundreds of lessons, but there are only few which he remembers or actually implements in his life. These mainly constitute the lessons which are either implemented in the job prospects of the students or in their daily life, for being nice and civilized citizens. From the very beginning of the life of a student, he is taught all the mannerisms, rights and duties, to fulfill their role as a good citizen.
A special field, which makes the student, specialist in the subject of social science and even many students opt it as a career, is sociology. Sociology is the study of the social behavior and different aspects and elements for leading a happy and rightful life. Sociology as a subject was introduced in the 19th century, to scientifically investigate in the social and the cultural behavior of the human beings and thereby setting guidelines for the people to act and follow accordingly.

For pursuing a career in social sciences, a student needs to have arts or humanities as his subjects in his senior secondary examination, with a good percentile in the subject of sociology.
